The house is situated in a small hamlet in approximately 3 acres of parkland. It is 5 km from Riberac in the northern part of the Dordogne.
The gite is believed to have been built in the 13/14th century with the main house added later. The gite has independent access with a private garden and ample parking space. It retains some of its original features whilst being comfortable. In the main bedroom there is the original fireplace and a stone sink and beamed ceilings.
Accommodation
It is a double storey gite sleeping 2/3/4 people. The ground floor consists of a living room and kitchen/diner. In the living room there is a CD player/radio television with video player, films and satellite. In the kitchen diner there are fitted kitchen units, cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave and coffee percolator. Also there is use of a washing machine.
On the second floor there is a double bedroom with open views across the parkland. A twin bedroom to the rear with shower room having washbasin, toilet and shower.
There are open countryside views to all sides of the property. To the rear is a self-contained garden with garden furniture and barbeque.
All bed linen is provided but you are asked to bring your own towels and tea towels.
We are sorry that we are unable to take pets. Smoking is not allowed in the gite.
