Moonstones, the south facing wing of our 17th century granite Coeur de
Ferme home in central Brittany offers excellent, spacious accommodation, all on ground floor level.   It provides a perfect base for exploring the delights of the area or just simply relaxing in the private garden and enjoying the tranquillity of the surrounding countryside.

The gite is tastefully furnished and equipped to a high standard, perfect for a luxury self catering holiday.  The spacious double bedroom with recently updated en –suite shower room, comfortably sleeps 2, with a travel cot and additional single bed also provided to accommodate a baby or small child.

The large sitting/dining room has a well equipped corner kitchen, with electric cooker, microwave and fridge/freezer.  Washing machine and tumble dryer also available.   The property has electric heating throughout, and there is also a portable cast iron log effect gas fire in the sitting room for colder evenings.

Moonstones is also equipped with English satellite television, a CD/DVD player, board games/puzzles and books for your entertainment.

The gite has it’s own private garden area with BBQ, patio furniture and sun loungers.  Covered parking is available within our private courtyard to the front of the property.

We are located in a rural setting in a tranquil hamlet, 1 km from the village of St Gilles Pligeaux with it’s bar/tabac/depôt de pain. Supermarkets and restaurants are located in the nearby towns of St Nicolas du Pelem (10 kms) and Quintin (15 kms).

The countryside surrounding the property is perfect for walking, cycling and birdwatching.   Fishing and horse riding are also popular activities in the local area.  The property is also within easy reach of the north and south coastal resorts.

Prices are inclusive of bed linen, towels, end of stay cleaning, water, gas/electricity and the loan of 2 adult mountain bikes.  Additional fuel supplement of €35 per week between October and April.
